Weekly Forecast: May 12-16, 2025 – Scorpio Full Moon

full moon desertMonday the Moon in Scorpio spends the morning heading into opposition with the Taurus Sun as Taurus Mercury actively squares retrograde Pluto in Aquarius. The full moon perfects along with Mercury-Pluto, so expect a palpable reaction.

An emotional culmination runs concurrent to a shift in understanding and attitude, and it’s not subtle. In addition to sensory, intellectual, and communications involvement, the full Scorpio Moon, Taurus Sun opposition spits the Gemini Jupiter, Aries Chiron sextile with the Moon the focal point of a yod. Scorpio Juno and Taurus Uranus oppose along the full moon’s axis as well, exacerbating the yod formation with passion, jealousy, shock, and intensity. It’s a giant shout and a shake: DO BETTER. Be better. Whether it’s internal or aimed at you (or you’re aiming it elsewhere), success is possible. The skills are already in the bag; you only have to embrace and embody them. Commit to a higher octave of your being.

Tuesday, the Sagittarius Moon is far more forgiving, in trine to Aries Neptune and sextile to retro Pluto. It’s a big mood for an actively creative transformation. Take a chance on letting go of the past in order to make room for a future that’s going somewhere. The Moon goes on to form a fiery grand trine with Aries Venus and Leo Mars, exact overnight. The mood is not just go go go; it’s also a joyous celebration of life, feeling alive, and taking pleasure in BEing alive and in motion. Don’t miss out.

Wednesday’s Sadge Moon rambles through day unhindered as Venus continues in trine to Mars (all week) and Mercury picks up a square to Mars. The mood is fantastic, and it feels delicious to stretch those legs (real and metaphorical). Keep in mind, however, that it’s also easy to miss some necessary data points or downplay plans we really need to follow through on. Cross off your mundane have-tos first before jetting off to fun time. Nighttime takes the Moon into opposition with Jupiter and trine to Chiron, so “know better, do better” leaves the mood with a philosophical win and enough energy to make it to the end of the road.

On Thursday, the Moon finishes in Sagittarius with a square to late Pisces Saturn. Every good run must come to an end. It’s either a blockage or a loss of momentum. Irritation is possible, but also avoidable if you’re mindful of the fuel in your tank and meter it responsibly. Boundaries give freedom meaning. By afternoon, the Moon moves to Saturn ruled Capricorn and a square to Pisces-ruler Neptune: the mood is slowing down whether you recognize it (or shoot on past). Rest if you need to, and assess your surroundings carefully.

Friday’s Capricorn Moon squares Aries Venus and trines Mercury in Venus-ruled Taurus. Take care of needs first, because preferences don’t have the same staying power. Go with what makes sense, what’s realistic. Make choices that bank on lasting value. By afternoon, the Moon quincunxes Mars, and if you’re into it, there’s plenty of time to catch a second wind.

The full Moon takes place at 22 degrees Scorpio. Where does this affect your chart?
